How did you get involved in leadership within your chapter?

I volunteered but it took a while to get involved. Once I got a toe in, let’s just say I’ve been swimming ever since!

What chapter committees do you serve on currently and/or have served on in the past?

I have worked on the Golf Tournament Committee. I have also served as the Summer Social Chair and as Board Secretary. I’m the current Chair for the Central Texas Chapter.

What have you gotten out of volunteering for your chapter?

Amazing exposure and experience as well as some lovely relationships, both personal and professional.

How are you fostering future volunteer leaders?

I hope by showing how much fun it is to volunteer and what great experiences can be had.

What do you find most satisfying about having stepped into a leadership role within your chapter?

I hope I am making a difference and opening the door to future leaders by sucking them in!!!!!

What is your favorite chapter activity?

I love the Summer Social!  It is always unique and fun.
