How has IAEE shaped your career?

When I was new to the event industry, IAEE was one of my main and favorite resources to lean on. Not only does IAEE have great content, but they also have amazing members and staff, who are always willing to help.

What advice would you give to a new member?

Take advantage of all opportunities available through your IAEE membership! Expo! Expo! is amazing but I also highly recommend the WLF. As someone who was new to the industry, WLF was a great opportunity to interact and network with influencers in the industry.

What community service projects do you like to be involved in? Why?

IAEE gave me to opportunity to share my story at Expo! Expo!, which has inspired me to continue volunteering my time to speak about how I manage a career and a mental illness.

What would you say is the #1 IAEE member benefit?

The multiple different ways to network and form connections within the association. I have met so many amazing people through IAEE and those connections have been invaluable to my success in this industry.

What do you like most about Expo! Expo!?

Everything! Expo! Expo! is always such an exciting event and one of my favorites to attend each year. They offer sessions and content for just about EVERY area in the industry. There is also ALWAYS something going on during the day: sessions, networking events, expo hall, connection lounges, new technology to test and the list goes on…
